About Lindsay Thompson

Part superhuman, part creative mastermind, one-hundred percent wizard, I have been designing, developing, and producing a variety of media productions for businesses and clients across the continent; from identity design to promotional videos, I’ve covered the gamut. With over eighteen years of graphic design, photography, and video experience, I provide personal, well-researched, and developed multimedia projects to meet the needs of my customers.

Born with art in my soul, I was introduced to the world one February evening in 1982, under an east coast moon. My father, a civil engineer, and my mother, an artist herself, surrounded me with the visual arts as a child. My mother spent time throughout her day strumming a guitar or coating a canvas in oil when she wasn’t bothered by my young antics.

As I grew, I showed my knack for art, learning to draw before I could properly write my name. It was an escape, an imagination at work, a cognitive skill. The works of my hands would frequent themselves in the kitchen gallery or the gallery collection.

I grew into my own as a graphic designer and creative personality as I grew older and took it beyond just a drawing on paper or a design on an electronic machine. I began to explore other avenues beyond what I thought of as graphic design. I experimented with photography, illustration, and Web development, and even went so far off the grid as to dabble in metalsmithing. With all that, I decided I didn’t want to be just another graphic designer, I wanted more. I wanted to be a well-rounded and multi-talented artist in a multitude of media.

Therefore, this is what I became. I developed into an artist with a desire to learn new things; a heart to persevere over adversity and a creative mind that could reach all human touch points, from print to screen. I became a multimedia developer with a distinct desire to make good design available to everyone. It isn’t just about the large corporations with million-dollar budgets. It’s about good design for companies and customers, large and small.

In my spare time, I often participate in various activities including canine flying disc, improv comedy, strongman training or competing, or an array of outdoor activities. I’ve qualified for the world finals in canine flying disc nearly 25 times and have competed in numerous venues throughout the United States. I’ve also qualified for the 2022 Strongman Corporation Masters National Championships in only my second year in the sport.
